With Neil's extensive finance background, including roles as CFO and a consultant for Prairie Star Development Group, and Makenzie’s transformative leadership as President of Remonov and Company, they bring unparalleled experience to their venture.

At Prairie Star Development, Neil managed the financial aspects of commercial and residential plans for the concluding phase of a master-planned development in Berthoud, Colorado. He played a pivotal role in securing a $17.5M 521D3 HUD insured loan, showcasing his expertise in navigating complex financial landscapes and contributing to the project's success.

Farout Construction

At Faurot Construction, Neil significantly impacted financial strategy and growth, driving revenue from $10MM to $30MM within two years. He managed financial plans and budgets to elevate contracted revenue to $18MM in 2016, surpassing industry EBITDA averages. Neil also spearheaded financial auditing and contract management for major projects, including a $25MM medical office build, and played a key role in real estate strategy, including the selection and negotiation of the company's headquarters.

Crooked Stave Brewing

As CFO of Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project, Neil spearheaded strategies boosting revenue from $800K to $12MM and expanded the team from 7 to 40. He secured $4.7MM in financing for key investments and streamlined fund availability with custom financial tools. Neil coordinated with stakeholders to expand the production facility and taproom, enhancing sales without disrupting operations. His strategic focus on inventory management further elevated sales, showcasing his financial acumen and leadership in driving substantial business growth.

Thrive Financial Consulting

As the founder and president of Thrive Financial Consulting, Neil led the firm to specialize in serving natural foods manufacturers, restaurants, and breweries. He successfully grew the company, overseeing a staff that managed $12MM in revenue and over 200 employees. Neil innovated accounting systems for better transparency and reporting, guided business managers in financial strategy, and partnered with Denver’s Office of Economic Development to secure funding for clients. His achievements culminated in the sale of the company to a family firm, marking a significant milestone in his entrepreneurial journey.

At CU Boulder's Leeds School of Business, Neil Almy excelled, earning a BS in Business Administration with a finance focus, alongside Real Estate and Entrepreneurship certificates. Further demonstrating his leadership, Neil served as president of the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and founded his own non-profit organization, showcasing his commitment to community and entrepreneurial spirit.

As President of Remonov, Makenzie transitioned the company from analog to digital, integrating advanced tech solutions such as property and project management software, alongside AI. She successfully led sales transactions and made the company's first asset acquisition in over 20 years, increasing its value from $2.9M to $3.4M in under a year. Under her leadership, the company also saw an increase in NOI despite increasing expenses, navigating post-COVID cost challenges effectively.

During her tenure at Petzl America from 2016 to 2017, Makenzie gained insights into multinational corporations with dual focuses on recreation and business. She pioneered a novel program aimed at managing direct sales to industry professionals, showcasing her ability to innovate and implement strategic initiatives within complex organizational structures.

The Home Outpost

At the Home Outpost, Makenzie crafted a business plan that transformed the company from a modest retail operation into a successful entity with its own real estate showroom. Her strategic vision extended to expanding the business into home staging, further solidifying the company's growth and diversification in the market.
